Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Description
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, the participant will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.
Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
We follow the 2020 American Health Association Guidelines for CPR & ECC. These guidelines are based on the most current and comprehensive review of resuscitation science, systems, protocols, and education.
